I am having a difficult time remembering how to do this. I know the formula is C1V1=C2=V2

You need to prepare 21 mL of a 2.6 M solution of EDTA. No EDTA powder is available, but you do have 1 L of 13.8 M EDTA solution. Step by step, how would you prepare this solution?

Things you may or may not need to know:

• EDTA is heat stable.

• EDTA is available to you only in liquid form (see above).

• FW = 292.24

• Density = 860 mg / mL

Can someone walk through a few simple algebraic solution-making problems? I know how to use formulas, such as C1V1 = C2V2, however I'm having issues with the conceptual part, mostly for when using two solutes. Problem #1: Make 200 mL of a saline that has 5 mMol NaCl and 15 mMol KCl. Stocks are 0.1 M NaCl & 0.2 M KCl. (and if it's simply the C1V1=C2V2 of one, and then the second, added together in a 200 mL flask...
