1.RADIUS is centralizing control over authentication &
authorization
It wont bother which path user is going to access the network
Single point of contact-here the NPS server will act as RADIUS
server
It will handle the authentication of the user & determines the
level of authorization
2. for standardizing RADIUS it requires all of the NAS devices
to be clients of RADIUS after therefore only 1 protocol perform
authentication and authorization & only 1 standard
configuration process will be used No matter kind of device that is
connecting to the network
