Your assignment is to perform a visual soil and inspection of
your garden area, or an area of your choosing if you do not have a
garden/ landscape to inspect. As part of this inspection you will
gather information and draw conclusions about the soil. The four
parts of this inspection are as follows:
1. Visually inspect the soil’s color, and note the types and
condition of the plants currently growing in the area.
2. Perform a texture analysis utilizing the feel method and following the texture flowchart .
3. Pour water on the soil and observe how the water penetrates or runs off.
4. Dig a small hole; approximately shovel wide and shovel deep, to determine workability and expected ease of root growth.

this type of soil is rich in calcium, potassium, and magnesium but has poor nitrogen content.

3. the values of parameters of infiltration models varies from soil to soil.
the place where the soil is compacted, the infiltration rate is low and runoff is high.
and where the soil is little plowed the infiltration rate is higher there.
4.the depth of the root of plants in my garden is not much deep.
