Answer #1

Answer d)

Bicameral legislature comprises two tier assemblies and unicameral legislature consist only one legislative assembly. A weakness of having a bicameral legislature over a unicameral legislature is that sometimes it creates political blockage when the two chambers does not agree with each other. As in bicameral legislature, both the chambers need to approve the new laws and if one party disapproves it then the whole legislation gets blocked. It results in delay in implementation of laws, rules and regulations. Also if they abandon the idea altogether it results in wastage of time. Also both the segments perform similar activities resulting in wastage of resources also. These things are not found in unicameral legislature as only one assembly is involved so there are no disputes between two segments.
