Answer #1

After independence the task of creating a new government that too from a scratch is the most significant chapter in the history of America. The task of creating new democratic government and constitution lies between 1776 and 1789. Some of the important factors that these new Americans considered in this creation are highlighted as follows:

  • It was decided by representatives of 12 out of thirteen states that a system of limited government will be created after independence.
  • The system of limited government is one where there are restrictions on government for protecting rights of citizens.
  • Articles of Confederation: It was declared immediately after revolution. Under these articles of confederation most powers were given to state governments. However, in late 1780’s it was identified that this article is not working as desired.
  • Constitutional Convention: In 1787, all the states representative meeting was conducted in Philadelphia with the objective of creating new government system.
  • James Madison from Virginia and Alexander Hamilton from New York played a major role in underpinning the awareness that government originates from the citizens.
  • The new government was formed with the aim of insuring domestic equanimity, establishing justice and united government, promoting liberty and welfare of citizens, sovereignty and rights of citizens.

Cloning is now possible by inserting a skin cell from a baby into an unfertilized human egg that has had its own DNA removed. This produces a blastocyte (an undifferentiated embry-onic cell), which includes stem cells identical to the baby’s. With this technique it is possible to make genetically identical embryonic stem cells from any cell in the human body. This would remove the need to harvest these cells from existing embryos. Theoretically these stem cells could be grown into...
