Think about your favorite sport, hobby, or other personal interest that involves some type of classification and/or scoring (e.g., college football, gardening, Olympic weightlifting, quilting, and baking). Discuss elements of your selected hobby that best relate to each of the levels of measurement that we have explored in this unit. You can be creative and use information as you see fit as long as it is appropriate for a given category (e.g., for college football: nominal = school names, ordinal = something to do with standings, ratio = possibly years of college playing experience per player, and interval = game time temperatures).
PLEASE ORIGINAL WORK!!!!!
Lets take " Cricket " as favorite sport.
Here we can see the level of measurement.
1.Nominal: The number on the Jerseys of the cricket players.
2.Ordinal: The order of batsmen while playing in a match.
e.g: Opener, middle order
3.Interval: Overs in cricket match ( An over us equal to 6 balls thrown by the baller to the batsman)
4.Ratio: The run rate of each team can be put under Ratio scale.
Thank you.
