Ans. Yes , I believe that this is positive trend for US businesses and consumers because :

1. It increases competition in the market and hence consumers have to pay lower prices.

2. Foreign ownership brings in FDI and thereby increasing economic growth .

3. Transfer of Technology takes place.

4. It increases employment and wages.

5. It increases the quality of goods because of intense competition.
