Answer #1

I am selecting Artificial Intelligence here as a subject :

Artificial Intelligence can be defined as the science of making objects think and take decisions by themselves. The major part of artificial intelligence is the machine learning and neural network , which actually enables a machine to develop intelligence.

The term artificial intelligence was coined at a conference that took place in 1956 at Dartmouth college in Hanover, New Hampshire. A major incident that revolutionized AI is the IBM chess bot based on AI defeated the human chess champion of that time and since that continuous efforts and innovations are happening in this field.

Artificial intelligence is the future technology to look for as it enables to replace repetitive work done by humans to be done by robots with much higher accuracy.

One of the biggest advantage of artificial intelligence is in the data analytics sector which has enabled business groups to be more competitive in the market by identifying what their customer needs. Another  major advantage is in the manufacturing sector where majority of the labour force is being replaced by robots which are able to work in extreme conditions with higher accuracy.

Controversies associated with AI are that the human labours have become more vulnerable to their jobs , since they could be replaced by robots. There is always a fear of robots taking over human workforce.

Various types of jobs available in AI sector is the Machine Learning Engineer , Data Scientist , Automation Engineer in bulk amount.

It is truly the most exciting topic to research for , as it is having the biggest impact on the society currently.

Greetings from the real economy. I’m Steve Lohr, a tech reporter for The Times, and I tend to focus on the effects of technology beyond Silicon Valley.
