Answer #1

Pros of 360-degree appraisal system:-

As the responses are collected from the multiple aspects, thus it can be seen as a more comprehensive program

It facilitates better feedback

It can result in TQM initiatives as it gives more importance to the internal and external customers

As the feedback is collected from the number of individuals, the chances of biases and prejudices are very less

The employee self-development can be boosted as the feedback is obtained from the number of peers and others.

Cons of 360-degree appraisal system:-

This is quite a time consuming and trivial exercise

This kind of feedback can create resentment in the employee if the employee thinks that other individuals have ganged p against him or her.

There can be a conflicting opinion about a single individual so judging effectively is quite difficult

It requires proper training of all the employees to provide valuable feedback

The inaccurate outcomes can be obtained if the employees collude to provide invalid feedback

KINDLY RATE THE ANWER AS THUMBS UP. THANKS A LOT.
