This helps the firm in achieve competitive advantage by mutual share and collaborative support. The partnership in supply chain agrees on business relationship like sharing technologies, sharing resources and creating a supportive environment like providing support on demand estimation, supplier integration , administrative management etc. Partnership can be in the form of supplier partnership, clienter partnership which helps in cost reduction and bringing a collaborative support. Partners of supplychain are majorly support systems which provide sufficient support in the area of budgeting and freight forwarding. Many 3 PL companies are partners to the firm who take care of their cargos and ensure safety / secure delivery of goods at the pre agreed rates . The major difference between partners and partnership are partners are mosly independent firms who will focus only on the designated areas while partnership are more of collaborative support and shared risk and both mutually complement each other for common benefits.
