X-rays belongs to electromagnetic radiations.Energy of photon (quantum of electromagnetic radiation,smallest unit of light)    where h is the planck's constant in Js (Joule second) , c is the speed of the light in m/s (metre/second), which makes the unit of energy of x-ray in joules.
