How does managing transitions reduce mistaken behavior?
Mistaken behavior is unintentional misbehavior of people. Managing transitions can reduce mistaken behavior because if we know the characteristics of each phase of life we can manage them, we can know what is allowed and accepted according to the norms of the society for any phase of life and what is not allowed. Thus if we know the accepted norms of the society for each phase of life we may not transgress them even by mistake. For example, as a child, we know that it is fine to not do home chores but as an adult putting the entire burden on the shoulders of other people is misbehavior that may be considered mistaken behavior.
