Answer #1

Ans: True

Explanation: Hamilton wanted an independent judicial system. He states the constitution proposes federal judges should be appointed for a lifetime. It avoids them from coming under any political pressure. It also prevents the invasion of judicial powers from the president and the congress. He felt currently the judicial branch of the government was mostly ineffective. It only posses the power to judge not the power to act. Even their judgments execution is dependent on the executive branch. He felt the judicial review is a critical way to protect the constitution and result in a free government. He feels the judiciary should declare all laws formed outside the constitution as illegal. The legislative has to power to create the law and define the rights and duties of all individuals and the executive is the purse as it executes all the decisions. In brief, Hamilton felt that the judiciary was the weakest and least powerful branch of the government as it has neither the power or the finances to implement a decision.
