Solution:

1 lb = 0.454 kg

Since, 0.454 kg = 1 lb

Thus, 1 kg = 1 kg x 1 lb / 0.454 kg = 2.20 lb

Hence, price of orange in Kg = 2.20 x price in lb

= 1.23 x 2.20 = 2.706 = 2.71 $
