Given that there are 3 aces in a hand of 5 cards, that is aces of hearts, clubs, and diamonds, therefore the probability that  it contains the ace of spades is computed here as:

= Total ways to select 1 remaining card from 48 remaining cards / Total ways to select 2 cards from remaining 49 cards

Therefore 0.0408 is the required probability here.
