In the past, some students have tried to use ridiculously small samples so you should give me an idea of your sample size. I would just like a brief statement of what you are planning to do your project on (e.g., a paragraph or two). You can later change your topic (but you should talk to me). Include an explanation of your data source. The data source should to be one that you have actually found and verified and not one that you think you can find. State what your dependant variable is and some of your independent variables (you can later add more as others occur to you). Remember that your independent variables should not be part of your dependent variable by construction.
