This could be anything from a Point of Sale cash register, a barcode scanner for shipping/receiving goods or packages, a hand held pricing/ticketing device for stocking and pricing merchandise, a warehouse management system in a warehouse, an inventory management system at a store, a booking system at a hotel or restaurant (like Oracle Micros), etc.

answer 3 - the average day like in their position will be to oversee and manage a staff of the hotel checking the booking of customers are they happy with the services or not and manager also checks the food quality of the hotel so that customers are served best checking for the comfort of the customer and instructing staff to make environment of hotel peaceful.
