Reason - water quality : built environment will decrease the degradation of water quality. More waste material and other product will mix with stream water. Due to more construction various types of pollutants add with stream water

Connectivity to flood plain - flood plain control the natural ecosystem. If more envirment pollution occurs it will affect the plants and animals lives in ecosystem.

Riffle and pool - due to more building steram runn off will increase as a result it will affect on this configuration. In land part less amount rain water will penetration into ground and all rain water will go into stream so it damage the riffle and pool configuration.

Bank stability - as more water add in to stearm it also affect the bank stability. Meandering river convert into straight path.
