Given that ,

mean = = 19.8 oz

standard deviation = = 1.2 oz

P(x < 20 ) = P((x - ) / < ( 20 - 19.8 ) /1.2 )

= P(z < 0.17)

= 0.5675 Using standard normal table,

P(x < 20) = 0.5675

Probability = 0.5675
