This dependency may be written as T = T₀ – az, where a is a proportionality constant, z is the altitude, and T₀ and T are the temperatures at ground level and at altitude z, respectively. Derive an expression for the barometric equation that takes this into account. Work to a form involving ln (P/P₀).
