If element contain unpaired electrons then it is paramagnetic and if all electrons are paired then it is diamagnetic.

Electronic configuration are :

Thus, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu are paramagnetic and Zn is diamagnetic.
