Analysis of Commercial Advertisement

During this session we discussed the AIDA concept to drive the audience to some type of response. As a reminder, AIDA is an acronym that stands for attention, interest, desire, and action.

Select an advertisement and discuss whether you believe it is effective based upon the parameters discussed above. Within your discussion, identify the target market and include some analysis on which appeal the commercial seems to be using as well as the execution type.

I take an example of an advertisement on a particular brand of noodle, say Maggie Atta noodles.

The advertisement creates a WOW factor by showing that Maggie noodles can be easily prepared by anyone in 2 minutes. They are being promoted as an healthy option having wheat/ atta noodles and vegetables in the masala mix. Thereby, they attract attention of viewers and consumers of all ages, create a sense of health-awareness among parents, tempt the viewers and convince them into purchasing the noodles.

Here we observe , the advertisement applying the AIDA concept for improving the impact of the ad and boosting sales almost instantly.
