Ans: The problem is with the illumination of the room which needs to be adjusted for reading, TV viewing and general purpose on a continual basis.
How would you use technology to solve the problem?
Ans: Technology can be used to solve the problem through:
1) Adjusting illumination based on motion
2) Illumination adjustment and control via mobile phone
3) A smart home automation system can be used for dedicated control
and monitoring of illumination and heating

Ans: The best solution is obviously using a dedicated home automation system but that will be quite expensive.
How would you measure whether the chosen solution is working?
Ans: If hassles has reduced and manual intervention has been eliminated, then the proposed arrangement is definitely working well.
What might be the reason for this chosen solution to fail ?
Ans: Faulty implementation and configuration of the home automation system wth specifications not meeting the requirement could be a possible reason for failure.
