To what degree does Ford's management focused on new or emerging product and market opportunities? [200 words or more][Will give thumbs up]
Ford’s management has high priority focus on new or emerging product and market opportunities. They have approximately 80-90 emerging markets for the business and these are considered as separate clusters. They have an International Markets Group (IMG) that consists of these emerging markets. The main reason that Ford Motors focuses on these emerging markets is that they strongly believe that emerging markets are predicted to have increased sales in the upcoming days. Also, Ford Motors forecast that these emerging markets clusters show the highest level of growth among all the other markets.
Additionally, Ford Motors' formation of IMG is based on the predicted sales of compact pick-ups. It has been noted that this segment includes the commercial vehicles as well. Ford Motor aims at increasing its revenue through its import segment as well. One other aspect of product opportunities is increasing the revenue for after-sales opportunities. Ford’s new business unit of emerging markets have operations in countries such as Africa, Australia, India, Mexico, etc.
Ford’s other new global ventures in the emerging markets and product opportunities are strategized through the efficient distribution channels, management of cash flow, adherence to compliance and regulations and mergers. Ford has been able to sustain its leadership in the automobile industry through these strategic objectives.
Note- If you like the answer, please provide an up-vote as it would be quite encouraging for me. Thank you.
