Pipeline Project
Your company is responsible for installing a 24-inch pipeline. You have three crews, each of which performs a unique operation. Each crew is currently scheduled to work 5 days per week at 8 hours per day. The crews and their normal daily (8-hour) production rates are listed below. Assume that you would like to keep a minimum of 1 day or 200 linear feet, whichever is greater, between crews. The excavation crew started 10 working days ago. The pipe slicing crew started 3 days ago, and the pipe laying crew will start in 2 days.

b. speed of PS crew = 320 ft/day = 320 ft / 8hr = 40 ft/ hr
if PS crew works 10 hrs per day then the rate of work = 320 + 40 + 40 = 400 ft / day.
the E and PS crews already started when we came in so this new modification will apply from tomorrow.
