To my personal opinion, i am with it. I am surely encouraging the point of increasing the minimum wage rate, but as proposed now it being increased to $15 per hour from the minimum wage rate of $7.25. But yet the discussions are not over. We can expect this in the end of 2019 or mid 2020.

Well the reason for my support is simple, Everyone should be happy with whatever work they're doing. If you pay them correctly for their hard work, every person will tend to work more interestingly and concentrated. So increasing the minimum wage rate has more advantages than the disadvantages.

Factors considered for this decision are simple, equality and justice is the only thing i considered before answering this question. For an economy to improve income equality is important and equal importance is also important for an economy to grow. So these are some factors which made my decision to point towards the positive side.

The number itself is the sole answer to your question. 29 states has chosen to increase the minimum wage rate considering may factors. So it's not one or two states that are in favor of this decision. It is nearly 58% of the total number of states agreeing to one common decision. So it is not surprising that many people are in favor of this decision. This substantially improves the per capita income and which in turn increases GDP also.

Note : IF you like my answer, please leave it a thumbs up, it is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
