You have just finished a long paper that you have written using Vi. The file containing the paper is called my paper under your current directory. After your instructor has briefly looked at the paper, she recommends that you change all instances of the reference 'data is" to data are" before you submit . write a command that changes all "data is" to "data are", and save the new file into my paper_new

[Esc] :%s/data is/data are/g [Enter]

This will replace all occurrences of the string 'data is' in the current file with the string 'data are'.

Note : [Esc] and [Enter] here represents that you have to press the Esc and Enter key on the keyboard respectively.

To save the file with a different name, do the following :

[Esc] :w paper_new [Enter]

These commands will replace all occurences of required string and save the doc in new file.
