Using ideal gas law pV = nRT

p = 25 atm

V = 100 L

R = 0.0821 L.atm/mol.K

T = 80 degree Celsius = 353.15 K

putting values :

25 atm x 100 L = n x 0.0821 L.atm/mol.K x 353.15 K

n = 86.2 mol

mass of ethane = mol x molar mass

= 86.2 mol x 30.07 g/mol

= 2592.8 grams ethane
