I want to find the concentration of hydrogenperoxide in a soulution using titration. I use potassium permanganate as a titrant. I use 21 mL titrant to equivalence. I have found that the concentration of the titrant is 0.023 mol/L. The volume of hydrogenperoxide soulution is 10 mL. The teoretical value is 9.7 M. I think the ratio in the raction is 5:2.

hydrogen peroxide titration, concentration of KMnO4 is 0.025 and the concentration of H2O2 from the mol ratio is 0.882 M o Estimated Concentration of Diluted Peroxide: . Remember when we had a 1:1 ratio we wanted the concentrations of NaOH and HCl to be similar. So if NaOH was 0.025 M then we would want HCl to be 0.025 M. In this case, we have a 5:2 ratio so if the concentration of KMnO4 is approximately 0.025M then we need...

Need step by step solution to following: Suppose that you want to determine the concentration of an aqueous solution of iron(II) sulfate using titration. You decide to use the oxidation of iron(II) to iron(III) with permanganate, 〖MnO〗_4^-, as the oxidizing agent in acidic solution. You take advantage of the fact that the reaction is quite fast, and the permanganate exhibits an intense purple color, while the other reactants and products are essentially colorless Consequently, if you add a solution of...

To calculate the concentration of a solution using acid–base titration data. In an acid–base titration, an acid (or base) of known concentration is added to a base (or acid) of unknown concentration until the number of moles of H+ and OH- are equal, a condition called the equivalence point. Since you know the number of moles of H+ (or OH- ) that you added, you can determine the number of moles of OH- (or H+) in the unknown solution. For...
