An educational psychologist is studying student motivation in elementary school. She follows males and females from urban and rural communities for three years, from grades 4 to 6 (n=5). Each year, they complete a questionnaire measuring their motivation and enthusiasm for school.

Here through design is two way that two way anova should use.

There are two factor each at two levels . The factors are gender and type of area.

The level of first factor gender is male and female

The level of second factor type of area is rural area and urban area.

Dependant variable is grade of students.

The data is taken from grades 4 to 6 for n=5 for 3 years . That is each total no.of cell 3*5 = 15 .

Two possible simple effect.
