From the given data, mass of acid (solute ) = 1.41g

We know that,

mass percentage =(mass of solute/mass of solution)×100

Mass percentage = (1.41g/4.06g)×100

= 34.73%.

If given mass of solution = 406g, then

Mass percentage = (1.41g/406g)×100

= 0.35% .
