Answer #1

Ans 1) Interrupting can be barrier to listening if you are giving backchannel cues.

when we give back channel cues then we interrupt the conversation and thus it can be a barrier to listening as we cannot hear properly what the speaker is saying the conversation.

Interrupting occurs when we say something in between the conversation and therefore the first and second option will not be valid here as it says, think the speaker is done speaking and are only half listening because when we think the speaker is done speaking then it will be our own bad listening and this does not come under interruption. Similarly when we are half listening then it is our bad listening and we are interrupting it. The fourth option which says that giving a warning will also be not valid here as when we give any warning than we purposefully do it and we are not interested in listening to that person so there does not come any barrier to our listening but when we give backchannel cues then obviously we are creating a barrier to listening.
