The multi-level approach factors in key characteristics and attributes of the relevant community and its people to address the needs of the population supported. For example, the population likely includes people representing a wide array of human development stages (i.e., infants, children, adolescents, adults, seniors), racial and ethnic diversity, disabilities, and sexual orientation or gender identification.

Health policy includes all the directions, laws, actions and decisions that are required to protect the health of the population. It also includes the implantation of these policies. The main objective of these national policies is to develop a healthy environment for the communities by providing all the healthcare facilities or services. Meaning that, health policies include the role of law makers in achieving the good health. These public health policies prevail at the state level, national level and country level.

1. National public health policies are alone insufficient to address critical health needs, promote wellness and improve public safety. There are many things that have to be done to achieve a proper health care system. Because in the current scenario the prime concern of the health is changing. Various diseases whether they are communicable or not are growing very fast. The other change that has emerged is in the costs. Some people can afford these costs in curing their diseases. But there are many people who are living below the poverty cannot afford these costs. The main objective the health policy is to provide good health services at minimal cost. Therefore, a well sufficient and productive health policy should be implemented to address health needs of the people.
2. There are different types of people that are living and these people have different characteristics which describe their personality. Individual behaviours also affect public health policies as people have different approach to tackle things. Some people are more aware as compared to others. Population consist of various age groups which includes infants, young and old and these groups have different characteristics. Therefore, different characteristics of the people affect the public health policy. The main goal of these health policies is to achieve well being of the people keeping in mind the different characteristics of the people.
3. Public health policies promote the utmost level of health and protect people from various communicable and non- communicable diseases. Its motto is to achieve overall safety and care of the population. There are many ways by which public health policy support community health. Public health policies help people to avoid and cure various diseases like TB, HIV, Leprosy, Malnutrition and many more. Public health policies can support people in giving safe water and food for their living. Preventing them from various diseases and injuries. Public health policies are the drivers of the health of the population and it also try to provide a proper pollution free environment.
