If the boat moves at a constant velocity of 8 m/s 30° north of east (this means 30° above the + x axis), what is the boats velocity east and what is the boats velocity east?

Would I solve this by doing 8 cos(30) and 8 sin(30)? Can you please let me know?

Thanks
