Example

temperature, sound, heat, pressure, magnetism, motion

and provides a corresponding output. It usually takes analogue input and delivers analogue output. Therefore, an ADC(Analog to Digital Convertor) is usually required for IoT sensors

Computers only can work with electrical signals. Therefore, physical parameters are converted to electrical signals & sent over the Internet to Computer devices for analysis and manipulation
