Suppose that each of the launch trials costs $ 3,000. In addition a launch that fails produces an additional cost of $ 400. Calculate the expected cost.

2.- If X is a discrete random variable that has a Poisson distribution and P (X = 0) = 0.38, find P (2 <= X < 5)

3.- Suppose you throw a pair of dice until you get 11 for the first time. Find the probability that at least 8 pitches are needed.
