A film company wants to know if its new film will be well received by the public. To find out, they released the film to a sample of 100 viewers first. After viewing the film, they passed out a satisfaction questionnaire that has a minimum score of 0 points and a maximum of 100. Based on previous experiences, the company has done a study that predicts that the satisfaction score will be at least 80 points. However, the average score obtained in the questionnaires is 78.5 points and has a standard deviation of 10 points. According to these numbers, and assuming a significance level of 0.05, would we have enough evidence to claim that the company's prediction was incorrect?
