1. Write all molecules with their valence electrons. As we can see nitrogen is 3 electrons short of noble gas configuration, oxygen is 2, carbon is 4 and hydrogen is 1. Hence we arrange the electrons in such a way that each atom shares 'n' number of electrons, where is n = noble gas configuration - valence electrons.

2. Now we draw circles showing bond pairs.

3. Counting the number of electrons, Nitrogen, carbon(1) and oxygen has 8 shared pairs of electrons each. Hydrogen and C(2) need one electron each to complete their noble gas configuration. Hence, we rearrange the atom and complete the structure.

4. Each pair of electrons constitutes on bond hence, it can be written as N=C-(H)C=O.
