Answer #1

As it has been given that the Population of the City of Eldorado on Jan 1st 2020= 1,250,475 (midpoint population)

No. of incident cases (new cases) of COVID-19 occurring between January 1 and February 29 = 150

The incidence rate of COVID-19 between Jan 1st and Feb 29th per 100,000 of the population was approximately

= (case of COVID-19 between Jan 1st and Feb 29th/ total population)*100

=(150/1,250,475)*100

=11.9995441

It means 12 per 100, 000 population.

Hence option third is the correct answer.
