Answer #1

Small businesses generally begin as single owners or partnerships, but as businesses develop, executives sometimes sell inventory to investors to assist finance development. It becomes a company subject to many particular laws and regulations after a business sells inventory. Corporations may participate in various political activities in an attempt to influence elections, but in a presidential election they can not direct cash to political applicants.

Corporations and labor unions are forbidden from contributing to political applicants, according to the Federal Election Commission. This limitation applies to both profit and non-profit corporations. Individuals, on the other side, can contribute up to $2,500 to a specific political candidate. This implies that a company owner whose company is structured as a company can still contribute to a political candidate, but he has to do so from his own private resources rather than through an account of company.

While corporations can not directly lend cash to presidential applicants, they can indirectly offer cash through corporate sponsored boards of political action, also known as PACs. For a select class of people, such as corporate executives and shareholders, corporations can organize PACs to increase voluntary contributions. These funds can then be used by a corporate sponsored PAC to contribute to political applicants. A PAC can directly contribute up to $5,000 to a candidate and can also contribute to boards of domestic parties and other political parties.

Although corporations are unable to donate directly to presidential applicants, through certain indirect contributions they can pursue further political objectives. Corporate staff can make political campaign donations through corporate accounts drawing private resources against wages, earnings or other compensation. Corporations can also pay for ads that advance or harm applicants for political roles.
