Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a very important software and processes that help the organizations in inventory management and have control and administer the warehouse operations. This process helps from the time a product enters the warehouse, stored and dispatched to the final destination. the bigger the organization or the number of deliveries the more important is the need for WMS.

The receiving equipment : are very vital in the WMS system as the organization would know what have they received and in what quantity. The next step is where has the received consignment been stored in the warehouse. This would help ease the process of receiving and delivery of the products.The equipment used receiving the inventory are :

• lifts and dollies.
• sufficient receiving area, marked properly for different segment of products. Unpacking" and "re-packing" area.
