1.Greater china and Asia pacific region is a big market for Apple,s iPhone. Facts to understand this are :

  • Greater China is the apple`s third largest market .
  • iPhone was the most popular phone sold in china in 2018.

But recently before few months apple has been banned from selling iPhone in China released from iPhone 6s to X due to several causes like China`s declining economy and week trade relations with the US and several other reasons as well. As a result,its sales fell billions in China. Apple`s iPhone is also facing the stiff competition in Asia from the Chinese companies like O Oppo , Vivo etc.

2. Global Marketing Management of British Tobacco: The British Tobacco industry is very popular world wide. It is a multi national cigarette and tobacco manufacturing company in London . Its Marketing Management concept is :

  • It focuses only on adult consumers and it never reaches out to children and youths. It has a YAP - Youth Access Prevention message and methods of marketing.
  • Its marketing methods are responsible and information are accurate and not misleading.
  • Its all products are approved legally.
  • It strengthens its strong internal controls time to time.
  • It follows the local rules of the local government to the places it reaches out.

3. Product Adaptation ( Netflix) : It is the process of making changes and updating the product to make it more adaptable to the current trend in the market. Netflix is an American production company. It has an incredible growth all over the world in recent years . Its Product Adaptation was :

  • It did not try to come in fame all at once , rather it first came in countries nearby and built its name there and with that name existing already, it entered another countries and earned a lot of fame in this manner.
  • It spread with an accelerated pace in some countries.
  • It focused on adding more and more languages in it . it also added local languages to reach out to a lot of people.It attracted a wider audience.
  • It has joined with local companies like local cable operators to make its content more available to more and more people.

4. Industrial customers buy goods and services for making the use in producing other goods and services and finally produced product/service sold to the consumers. In industrial marketing, the demand for industrial goods and services is derived from consumer goods and services. Tanglin shopping centre in Singapore has its own industrial demand or derived demand . It has a good building , good interior and good services which raises its demand in the market. It has a wide range of products offered to the people. that is why it has a great demand.
