Mean amount of time , μ = 8.4and the standard deviation , σ = 1.8the sample size ,n = 40P( mean rebuild time exceeds 7.7 hrs)= P (Xbar> 7.7)=P(Z> [(7.7-8.4)/(1.8/√40)]=P(Z>-2.46)=1- P(Z <= -2.46)=1- 0.0069=0.9931
