Question

In the problem shown, I’ve proceeded to a point where I’m interested in knowing two quantities specifically. Firstly, what is the flowrate Q through the pipe shown? Secondly, how can one express H1 (not h1) in terms of Pa, Patm and h1 if Pa is the pressure at point A (where the cross-section has area S1)? I answered that Q is S1 * v1 and thought H1 could be found using Bernoulli’s but am unsure.
