To calculate the total area covered by oceans(in km), add the area of Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern and Arctic.

In cell B19, write =B14+B15+B16+B17+B18 and you will get 335258000 (in km).

Now to find the area of oceans in miles, multiply 0.621371 with the respective area in km (the reason behind it is we use the unitary method, 1km= 0.621371miles then 5km=5*0.621371 miles). Again to calculate the total area covered by oceans (in miles), add the area of Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern and Arctic.

In cell C19, write =C14+C15+C16+C17+C18 and you will get 208319598.7 (in MILES).

Now to find the percentage of the ocean,

percentage of the ocean= area of ocean total area 100

Calculations are shown in the picture below.
