Potential energy is a function of height(m*g*H)

so, C has least height so minimum potential energy

2)least kinetic energy-A

it is a function of velocity

since A is at rest while B,C D are moving so, least kinetic energy is of A

Temperature is measurement of average kinetic energy of molecule.
because avg. K.E=(3/2)*K*T where T is temperature and K is boltzman constant.

This is because
heat of vaporisation is the energy absorbed when liquid converts to gas.

When water starts boiling,it gets converted into vapours

so the amount of temperature which we provide at this stage is used for vaporisation and not to increase temperature

so, as long as it boils, its temperature remains constant.
