Answer #1

The dynamic range of CCD camera gives the peak signal-to-read noise ratio (psnr) and measured in db (decibels). Mathematically, it is defined as the ratio of WELL SIZE and READ NOISE on logarithmic scale. Well size is the number of electrons in a pixel and Read noise is the electronic noise introduced into the signal during transfer of image signal into digital format. This noise is on account of the fact that the CCD device is an analog device and some noise is introduced during ADC conversion for digital format of the image.

Well Size Dynamic Range - 20xlog10 Read Noise

In a digital image, the dynamic range can be defined as the as the ratio between the darkest and lightest parts of the photo. This can be correlated with contrast of the image. A high contrast image will have a U-shape histogram.

Write a code that comapres between the columns of two matrices. if there is a column shared between both matrices, it gets deleted from both of them. finally the code should print the two new matrices after the modification. [MATLAB] NOTE: SIZES Matrix 1 : 81 x 126 Matrix 2 : 81 x 94

    4. Two stars are imaged by the same telescope/CCD system. If both stars are known to be at the same distance from the Earth and the measured flux arriving at Earth from star B is 10x that from star A... A)What is the magnitude difference between these two stars? (ie., we want Am- m-m) B)Letting LJ be the luminosity of star A and Lg be that of star B, whet is the ratio of their luminosities: .A

  • Sum of two matrices

Create a program that:Receives as input in command line the sizes [rows] and [cols] of a two dimensional array, and [minValue] and [maxValue] between which the random numbers will be generated. Assume maxValue <= 999Generates two random two dimensional array with numbers between minValue and maxValue (inclusive) with the given size (rows x cols), and store them in m1 and m2Compute the sum of the two matrices and stores the result in a new matrix mSum.
