Describe and discuss the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. What were the most successful tactics of the Ottomans? Do you agree with the way they treated those they conquered?

Ottoman Empire is believed to be the oldest and long lived dynasties in the world history. This empire was reigned by an Islamic ruler who controlled large areas of the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe , for over 600 years.

The leader who was in - charge was famously known as Sultan. He exercised religious and political power over his people.

Osman 1, was the leader of Turkish tribe who founded the Ottoman Empire around the year 1299. Along with oragnizing a formal government , their territory was also expanded under the period of leadership of Osman 1 , Murad 1 and Bayezid 1.

Sultan Mehmed gave a name to Istanbul, which means the ' City of Islam' . Istanbul was made the capital of Ottoman Empire. Thereafter , Istanbul made its place for center of trade and culture.

Tactics: Ottomans instead of fighting with Christians , they were too friendly with them. But they fought with their own tribes. i.e. the turkish tribes.

I agree with what the Ottoman empire did, by conquering the countries. In order for upliftment of their own empire, be it socially, culturally and on the basis of administration, etc. He wanted to make it big.
