Need explanation please
we did a lab to understand factors influencing the operation of a transformer. From the experimental values given in the table: Which core configuration gives the maximum transfer of electromagnetic effect to the secondary coil? Develop a theory to explain the difference between configurations.
For same no of primary and secondary coils in three different configurations, The maximum transfer of electromagnetic effect to the secondary coil is the box core, for it starts with the input of 6.06 volts and comes out with 5.15 volts which is the highest transfer out of all the three configurations. Closed box design reduce the reluctance of the air gap producing a highly saturated magnetic flux density inside the box with better coupling.
