Thermoplastic
Thermosetting
Recycling
If heat is applied thermoplastic will melt and can be remoulded but thermoset are closely bonded which resist heat , so it can be used in heat resistant products such as insulation, cookware holders, car parts, etc.
Thermoplastics are 100% recyclable. In ideal situations, thermoplastics can be repeatedly melted and remoulded into new products.
Copolymer
Copolymer is a polymer plastic that is produced by combination of two or more different monomers. This process is called Co-polymerisation. This process is carried out to vary properties of polymers such as hardness, strength, rigidity, heat resistance, etc ...
Problem 700 pts) (e) Compare the response of thermoplastics and thernosets to heati classes of polymers (if any) can be recycled. (b) what is a copolymer? The concentrations of carbon at the two...
0.6 and 0.3k Problem 4 1Opts) The concentrations of carbon at the two faces of a 12 mm thick steel plate are Fe, which are maintained constant. If the preexponential and activation energy are 6x10" m'/s and 8 respectively, determine the diffusion flux at 1050 K.
